The big boys of the classic. Unlike the influx of generic smellling fruity scent, Polo has a gameplan, and that is to make all the youner peers look really showly and fake. It is quite sad that hundreds of fragrances have been made to smell the same. I find them too sythesized and plastic. Just take a regular citrus scent that is relatively new, ie clinique Happy For men(with all due respect to clinique), the moment you place both of them together, you would have easily noticed how synthetic Happy smells. The raw herbal and citrus scents, is accompanied but its woody dryness that gives the scent an “earthy” dryout. The  younger crowd usually enjoys what i regard as a “joy ” fragrance, which in my opnion really tacky and lack directon and character. Drakkar Noir By Guy Laroche

This classic has its roots in the legend Eau Sauvage by Chirsitan Dior. The starting notes are citrus and sweet. There is a nice creamy texture to the initial stages. As it drys down, one would notice the herbs and woodish dryness that reamins for an exceptional  period of time. This scent does not turn sour unlike other cheaper wannabes. Drakkar Noir made an execptional effort in emulating the Golden Boy of citrus scents – the unmatched Eau Sauvage. The notes does get milder and sweeter as it slowly drys out. The residual scent is what most loyals from coming back for me. It speaks mountains that Drakkar Noir is the only fragrance that Guy Laroche has blessed us with. Aramis Tuscany

A classic. Aramis needs not introdcution. Its spicey-sweet notes owe its scents the cinnamon and citrus. A raw and masculine scent that managed to avoid being too over powering. Its sillage is moderate. Nonetheless, You will be able to enjoy this scent not only at formal suit-wearing occassion, but also very good at a nice night out. Bvlgari Blv Pour Homme

The colour blue in this has nothing to do with anything aquatic or marine. On the contrary, it is far from any citrus or floral notes. A deep green watered down ginger which adds to the sweetness of this scent. This is no fruity generic smelling gem. Only Bvlgair Black is the only one thicker in scent. The scent evolves perfectly into a sweet scented wood, with the dryness and muskiness giving it a sense of control and stature. The nice powdery scent that it finally ends with is pleasant and quite gentle. This is not for the outdoors and would be more appropriate for the least casual occasion.
